Easier said than done, Intrepid. If her "friend" stole it, she would be that much less likely to pay for a replacement. The best course of action is to discontinue service to that phone, and have the company nail the person who tries to reactivate the phone. No point leaving an open line out there that you have no control over when the bill is coming out of your pocket.

I've never even heard of one, but trust me, we have plenty of japanese cars everywhere in the US. Hell, my car is an Isuzu, the name can't get much more Japanese than that
Still, I get the odd guy who pulls up next to me in an intersection drving a little rice rocket, revving his engine like he expects me in my SUV to race him. Forget that lol. Rice rockets sound so (insert another word for cat)

so does this phone use a sim card?, i mean in that case they could just take it out and replace it with another and continue to use it so yes definatley call the phone company and see what they can do.

no, I do not think it is a sim card, it is a older model Nokia, through the Cricket phone company, I can get it deactivated (actually my husband will have to do it) but this is gonna be the third phone under that number to get deactivated, lol, the last ones have had a little mishap, when they gave me problems about making a call. my mo has an extra phone from the company, so I can just hers, and turn it on, but that means I have also lost all the numbers I had. It turns out that she has done this to another neighbor before too, plus the guy was nice enoough to let her stay with them, when her electricity was turned off, and her kids runied his place, and his furniture(sp?). Plus a few other tings that happened, she took some pain killers that I had, with out asking me if she could, I am seeing my mother all over again, lol. well thanks for your advice, the best course of action is to just turn that phone off, and have another turned on, like FSAsaid, and have that serial number monitered, and when she tried to turn it on, have them arrested

Question Mark

i am sorry for everything you are going through stormy. it is tough with ppl like that.

well...another saga in the sick morgan family....i have a sinus infection now, left over from my cold. erilyn has pink eye, and i think i'm about to go down for the count with a migraine. i only ever had one migraine before that had spots. that was in 7th grade, the rest were just horrible pain that made me shut down physically and metally. i am fighting the shut down cause nathan has all his vacation days planned so if he comes home early that is hours we won't be paid anyway the spots went away but just in time for the pain to come on. nathan is so lucky he has a good resistance to illness.

well maybe i will be on later. but unfortunately our pnp d&d group game tonight has gotten canceled. have a good one folks!

Bloody hell, did I say japanese? I meant italian, its the Seat Cinqueciento
Man, I'm tripping. Well anyway it's a driving tin-can, it's really that pathetic. I don't have it though, I don't have a car at all I got OV!! That's free access to all forms of public transit 24/7 (that's right dutchies, 24/7 for only €30,- more )
Owning a car here in holland is really expensive, you GOT to have a job or have wealthy parents...
