Your using the site address not the pictures address, which is

how do you know to converse it to "bierstadt1.jpg" part? that was fascinating, thanks for the help

You had the code right but the address was wrong.
AS for finding the site, I rick clicked on the picture and when to the address, and it was the only picture there.
If you wha the code it smiply
[img]http://sunsite.dk/cgfa/bierstadt/bierstadt1.jpg[/img~]
but with out the ~ before the last ]

Oh and it is very beautiful, if big

actually, he was one of my artist project back in high school. I hated art then, yes, I hated it so much, but when I saw his painting, I was like oh my god, it was just fantastic. Then I decided my year long project as Albert Bierstadt. his painting had a style of romantic and strong visual exaggeration, I just couldn't have enough of those.
