And it couldn't carry for two more years of Bush Jr.

Clinton raised taxes the highest they had ever been in the country's history. I was broke...still am. Clinton was another hick outside of Jackson who made it into office. Except Clinton didn't sleep all day and invite his poker buddies over for late night games.....or maybe he did?

Charean, we are hardly anywhere even aproaching rampant un-employment, or a bad economy. In the late 70's we had double digit un-employment, inflation, & interest rates, that was a bad econonmy. right now we have slow growth in our economy, it would be nice to have a faster growing economy, but slow growth is better then no growth or a shrinking economy like we had in 2000 BEFORE President Bush was elected or took office.

Sorry, I know it's unfair out of context - but boy that was fun. I don't know how people can be so silly as to think the GOP is going to improve the economy. They haven't yet. And, after so much time, they've run out of excuses.
Errr so much time? They just won the election. And I do recall a certain democratic National Chair person admitting they wanted to pick up 40 seats by delaying any kind of stimulus package till after the election...seems to me they shot their own foot dood!

That ebing said, I stand by my sheep quote and is exactly why I don't take pols to make my decisions and unlike ol billy boy GWB doesnt either.

it is only the PR people who are pointing to the polls, sort of using the Dems own trick back at them.

I think less than 5% is a bit less than Rampant JoMonster It is something like 4.5% and you have to remember that 2% of that consists of people who are completely unemployable, due to mental defect or physical inability.

And who said this? This infamous "They" also said that the War in Afghanistan was going to make the price of oil go up too....oh and don't forget, "they" arent counting on GWB opening up drilling and using our own available natural resources too. I also heard "They" said that if we went against the worlds 4th largest army that we would be bogged down in Iraq for years (I think the war lasted what? 100 hours?) "They" also said that Iraq's lighting the Kuwaiti oil wells on fire was going to ruin the worlds ecosystem....last time I looked we are still here..... I think "They" have their heads up their ass but thats just my opinion Do I hear "Them"? (baaaa, Baaaaa) hehehe Sheeple!
