It occurred to me a little while ago that I could use Chewy's mod to test out different character builds and pick the one I liked most. So I just downloaded it.
However, the readme file doesn't give any instructions on how to install or use it. So how is that done, exactly? |

You just put it in your module folder, you can unzip it there, if it's zipped, can't remember now. Then, you start the game, choose new game, other modules, locate it and start it. As for what you can do in the module, it's very user friendly. Hope that helps.

I didn't wish to start a new thread, though this will probably get missed anyhow. I have read a lot here about 'Chewy's mod'. Can anone tell me what it is and where to get it?
Thanks Alan |

It's Novice to Epic char generator, and it can be found at Neverwinter Vault. You can use it to create chars from lvl 0 to 40, and test them in the arenas, or prep one for one of the Official Campaigns, which can be launched from the mod. You should check it out, it's worth having, if for no other reason than to test build ideas before you put them into play.

Of course, one of my better build ideas was built out of curiousity mid-game in EfU

Chewie, you betcha! No problems at all once I updated the game (needed the 1.66 patch). Took two days before I could pull myself away from the mod and get into the game itself
This is just a great utility and has been helpful in many ways. First class stuff. Thank you! |
