Character Not Saved?

The game's final bonuses to WIS and CHR should be permenant, it is permenant in my game (either that or I am full of $hit)....
Charlie, after you "insert" all 5 tears and Jon comes out, try to pause the game then export you character under a different file/character name. I know this sounds silly, but it has worked (and worked again) for me.

Nope, nothing works.

All I've actually achieved now is the loss of all of my saved characters. Each is now the exact same bloke, with the exact same stat's, my thief, mage, and cleric are all now a fighter with a stat one less than he originally started the game with....deep joy. Serves me right for getting annoyed I suppose, the constant reloading and checking took its toll in the death.

I'm f***ed if I can work it out. I've dug a f****ng great hole for myself and dived straight in it seems. Even though these newly acquired stat's are supposed to be permanent (Wis/Cha) on my blokes screen they are shown in red...suggesting they are temporary.....any thoughts?

Charlie, the stats my character gained is actually in red too, however, as long as it is in the next game my character started, I am not complaining (yet). But what do you mean everything was over-written? How did you do that? Or what did you do? What I meant when save under a different name I meant create a new name (sorry if it is misunderstood). Speaking of your fighter, did he retain the bonus saving throws, magic resistance, elemental resistance...etc ??

Lord of Alcohol, do not worry, nothing too obnoxious in there.

But still one recommendation : get that translator and throw it out of the window, throw it far ...

Problem is that translators, no matter if they are of flesh and blood or not, should know not only of the vocabulary but also of the grammar of the language they are translating to.

By the way, I only got a faint idea of what it was you actually wanted to say .

But hey, at least I had a good laugh !
