almost finished the crypt!... but...

for the past couple of days, I'v been wondring around the crypt killing skeletons and zombies and occationally mummies from coffins(the mommies gave good exp ^^), eventually getting past the fire pits and reaching the scabban(reminding me of the last alien in aliens 4), got through him and swim through the tunnel and find my self in this rectangular(or diamond) shaped area with 4 tombs on each side, each with a lock thing near the door. I'v been trying a lot with those locks, and no luck, what should i be doin?...

hmmm... i just found the gold key and managed to open the tomb to nivius... after talking him, i'm suppose to get the mavin signet thing from underneath the corpse?... well... its not moving... can't move the corpse... help?

Get close to the corpse and move your mouse around on it. The ring should get highlighted when you pass over it.

Ermmm... you did swear the oath, didn't you? I'm not sure what happens if you decline... Radek?

Most probably, you spoil everything when you decline I have tried it, too Nivius said that he would wait for another champion. The ring weren't on the corpse. Nivius stood on his place silently and gazed on me without taking any action. Trying to attack him was futile - he was immune to weapons and spells. In the other words, I ended without the ring and without any possibility to gain it (I was playing solo). Therefore, I reloaded the game.
Perhaps, if you aren't playing solo, you'll be able to select another character and try again. Perhaps, the current party is lost and you will need to come with another party. Perhaps, it's even worse and you'll be forced to reset adventures. I don't know.

the locks should be on the right hand side, turn up the brightness and gama on the monitter and they might be easier to spot!

I'll tried this,( had saved game from Scabban'sroom )
Just enter back to Valeia and create new character, take him/her into crypt.
Didn't have to reset adventures and when you get that signet, return into town and give it to your orginal party and delete that new char.

Hmmmmm.....
Just popped into my mind.... If you are playing 6 characters, you are not able to make new char.if you don't delete one of your current party?!?

Radek? Am I right? then you might have to reset adventures...
But don't haste it yet! We try to find solution for your problem...

The max number of Party members...is 6. The max number of characters in the game, (which includes, those at the Inn) is 15.

Packrat, I remember that in my first game (WinXP, not patched or fixed)
I couldn't make more than 6 char. in Inn...

Don't know what was wrong, I just tried that gold thing at Inn and could just make 6 char. at one time...

Maybe if you have selected 6 charat your party you can't create more.
Would it help to remove char from party, not delete them and create new ones.

I must try this thing before I say something wrong what may spoil others game

You should be able to create characters until all the character slots are filled. You can't add any more to the party until there's an open slot.

I suggest scrubbing a charactor & making a new one just to get the ring. You can then get rid of that charactor.
I wouldn't play the game with more than 4 charactors myself. I just dont think it necessary when all the charactors become so flexable.
