PLEASE NOTEThis is a modified reminder that I've posted before in reply to someone asking "can we spam the cafe". It still holds true, so I'm going to repeat it periodically for anyone who hasn't seen it. Read the first post of the thread, it's NOT a spam zone. If you want to discuss you grades, a problem with a teacher, the weather, your neighbor's new car etc.....etc.. (real life conversations) this is the place. I don't mind a SMALL amount of spam but when the Cafe gets to be 8 pages in one day and it's all one liner pure spam, I have to ask people not to do it because most of the members who would come to talk about their day or things that they want advice or sympathy or cheers on, will not post in that atmosphere. I want you to be comfy here, but not at the expense of other members. So the answer is NO, I don't want to see page after page of roleplay spam or one liner spamfests that could be done on msn or aim etc. because our goal is to TALK WITH one another , not fill up a cafe in five hours.

Winter has come to the frozen north! LOL Well, we have a dusting of snow but boy is it COLD! I think it's about 20 or so Farenheit right now and not a heck of a lot warmer in my office!
Am a bit sad just now. One of our cats is very ill now and not likely to be with us a lot longer. He's been the sweetest of animals and it's so incredibly hard to see him dropping weight and being sick.

First none cloudy post!
Anyway, to add something to this post... We've had all the crappy cold, snowy weather and it's just a bit nippy but sunny and clear at the moment. Let's hope it stays like that for football on Wednesday! I'm sorry to hear about your cat Cloudy. I've never lost a pet that I remember (I've had three cats, a number of goldfish and a dog, all when I was under 6ish so I didn't understand what it meant). I hope your cat pulls through Just started my mocks at school. Done on today, Biology, which wasn't too bad. I was up at 1am revising just because I couldn't sleep. I still have 2 English, Chemistry, Physics, ICT, History and RE to go. Not too bad, although I was on my way to finish 30 minutes before the end (it was a 1 hour exam) so I took to writing a letter every 10 seconds. I think I managed a line or so in 10 minutes [ 12-05-2005, 02:34 PM: Message edited by: Ivelliis ]

Thanks Ivellis, but he's getting older and has been fighting cancer, so I'm not so sure we're going to have him much longer, that's the sad part. But we're taking care of him the best we can for now, while he's with us.
Are the 'mocks' actual exams or preparatory kinds of things? Good luck in any case!

They don't count for anything, but the questions are taken from past GCSE exam papers. But as my end of year report is wrote in February (I think) they can't put my final GCSE mark on (We don't get those back till August) so they put the mock mark on.
Still we have to do everything properly, as practice. We've been doing exams since Year 7 (now Year 11) so I think I have enough practice! The only exam I am looking forward to is ICT, 3 hours and really, really easy. I got 88% last year on a hard exam paper, and that was after all the revision and going-into-topics-in-depth.

It is soooo cold out! -20C, -30 with the windchill. Not pleasant weather for walking to the bus stop, let me tell you. This new house is nice and warm though. But it's too big!
