How do you link one area to another, as in a door? I tried to paint one using the "trigger" thing but it would just make a line. Huh?

I couldn't figure that out myself either. I've been meaning to go through this Module Contruction Turorial that I found, but I haven't had time yet. Maybe it will help you..

The link is about halfway down the page. Check in "Tutorial 3" once you have it downloaded.

Draw a polygon with the Trigger-Area Transition line tool. Click for once each corner on the polygon and double click on the last point to seal it. This is the trigger area. The area transition will be triggered whenever by stepping into this polygon. Create a transiton polygon in both areas you want to connect.

Right click on one of the triggers and open properties. First assign the trigger a unique Tag. This can be what ever you want. Keep it short and simple like "ToSomewhere". Do this for both transitions.

After both transitions have a unique Tag. Select the area transition tab under one of the trigger's properties. This is where all the connecting of areas take place. Press the Setup Area Transition button.

Select the target area you made the other transition in. Find the other trigger's Tag on the list and select it. Leave the Target Type and the Connection Type as the default. You only need to do this for one of the transitions and they both will be linked.

Have fun!
