I've been cleaning out the Dark Brotherhood's hideout, and when i get to the leader, he wants to start a conversation when he's nearly dead. Something about i'm going to die i believe. Except the conversation never ends. I can't end the dialogue, whenever i try to close the window, he starts saying his stuff over and over again.

I don't think i need to complete the annihilation of the DB to succesfully complete Tribunal, but it's disturbing nonetheless. Did anyone ever have the same problem ? If so, how can i solve this ?

Btw, i DID complete Tribunal before, and i didn't have this problem the first time. The only thing that has changed since then, is that i added a plugin (the armour mannequin plugin), and added Bloodmoon to the game.

I am fairly certain Bloodmoon is the problem. The official forums have been full of complaints about how Bloodmoon is messing up both the the original and Tribunal.

Try searching at the morrowind.com forums, or uninstall Bloodmoon and try talking to him again (after cleansing your savegame).

Well, i haven't had any problems whatsoever in the original game, and other quests in Tribunal are also going as they should, it only happens when i meet the boss of the DB.

And it would be a shame to uninstall Bloodmoon now, since i've already done a few things in Solstheim. Wouldn't disabling Bloodmoon now cause any problems then ?

Well, i disabled Bloodmoon for the time being, and now all is well. Very weird that Bloodmoon would cause errors in Tribunal, but at least now i know where it's coming from.

Did anyone else have similar problems ?

yes, bloodmoon will cause problem for some of tribunal quest. so it's recommended that you install bloodmoon only after you finish your tribunal quest.

And they didn't come up with a patch for that ? Or do they want us to create one ourselves ?

The patch for Bloodmoon fixes the Dark Brotherhood loop and another main quest bug in Tribunal. Just install Bloodmoon again and download the patch and everything should be fine.

It is indeed a MOST annoying bug! Back when I first played through, I had no patch available, so I thought I was stuck. If anybody, for whatever reason, needs to get through this part without the patch, a method is available. I learned of this on a game BB (possibly here, not sure). I hope I remember it correctly--it's been a while and I am _OLDBigfoot_ When in the endless dialogue loop, call up the console (US English default key is tilde). Type "ToggleScripts" without the quotes. Exit the console (Esc key) and pick up the note from the dead guy. LEAVE THE AREA--(I usually cast Almsivi Intervention to the Mournhold Temple). Use the console to type "ToggleScripts" again. You will get a journal entry that enables you to complete the quest.

As I said, this is only necessary if you DON'T have the patch.

For the later "no bridge" problem in Clockwork City, I walked around the ledge to the door area and then used "TCL" to walk through to the next door. Another big pain But, it allowed me to complete Bloodmoon without removing Tribunal.

I should have said that it enabled me to complete Tribunal without removing Bloodmoon. GEESH--I Am getting old
