Yep. You made a font color = skyblue tag, enclosed withing theproper signs, but you did not tell it when to stop making color. To do that, you have to make another tag, and put a / sign in it. Just look at examples, like this very post, by selecting to quote me, and see where I end my font.

By the way, look at my previous post for color suggestions, as I have edited it to include a URL.
[/QUOTE]So, do you actually have to type that line after the post? With the < etc >? And if I left my thingy open, would all my posts be that clour? 'cos they're not.

Hey, I did it! Now do I have to do something to close it?
Oh, and sorry Larry, even though I've heard the term URL before, I don't know what that means. I did see it in post, but didn't know what it meant. And I do see now that most all the text is white!

There I'll see if that stopped it.

This list is certainly not all-inclusive, but gives a fair amount to play with. Keep in mind that the dark background color that The Z man uses, has a direct influence on the final color re-production.

I don't know either and the above explanation doesn't help. I need it really simlpe, thanks.
May I suggest that you utilize the power within the 'quote' button. Just find where someone has changed color, use the quote link from that post, and observe how the 'tags' are used. Then print, or practice until you are comfortable with the process.

Thanks Felix, I think I'm getting the hang of it. Where can I find all the colours available? Is it just a case of type and see, or what?

You need to put < / font > at the end. As you can see that one post of you with white also changed your sig color so you didn't close it.

You can make accurate colours using the hexidecimal codes, make your own and experiment, but you can also just type basic things like

RED
PINK
GREEN
BLUE
CYAN
MAGENTA

Or one of my favourites ~ Dodger Blue Or Crimson

Quote this post to see how I've done it.

Well, you could use colorcop, which lets you pick any color from your desktop. If you don't like it, there are more.

Edit: This only gets you hexadecimal codes, like #000000.

Ok, but looking at some of the others, it seems like you have more than what's needed. color="red">RED isn't the 1 red good enough? It worked for me. Or does this do something different? (stole Cyan!)
Oops sorry. I see what you did now!
