Yep... and I'm trying to bust back to 9.0B or 8.1. 9.0C hasn't done me much good, playing my antiquated games...

Oh, yeah... I keep forgetting. Classic games, like W&W or M&M. Ahhh.... the fun....

So, Bungleau, out of curiosity, what issues did you run into with 9.0c?

I've been running 9C for sometime and haven't encountered any issues, although I don't generally play a lot of games.

A lot of problems develop when new software meets old hardware or vice versa.

I run into graphics glitches when playing Wizards & Warriors. Sometimes the game doesn't load, sometimes it freezes midway through, and usually it hangs when I close it (sometimes so I can use task manager to kill it, and sometimes so I have to hard reboot the system).

I don't know for certain that 9.0C is the culprit, but W&W was running fine on my other machine with 9.0B. That does have a different OS (98 vs. XP), so I still need to try the XP machine with 9.0B to see if that makes a difference.

I've also been thinking that I may need to add a sound card on the XP machine and stop using the on-board sound, even though it's easy...
