Well, more of "The Biggest Freaking Upgrade Ever" at Christmas time
New computer
2800mhz processor (equivalent)
128m video card (AGP 8x with 10.2g bandwidth)
512m ram (PC3200)
120g SATA hard drive (150m xfer rate 8.5ms seek)

My video card will be better than my sister & dad's.

I will have the first hard drives in the house that are faster than my dad's 10k SCSIs (xfer at 80m per second mine does 150m/sec)

I'm jealous, GrandSlayer.. I need some upgrades myself, but I'm too short money-wise, and I'm too lazy as well (but that's no real reason, is it? )

When are you getting this? I'm also supposed to get a new computer on X-mas, maybe we can see who has the better PC then?

People get, new comps all the time, what's the big deal? Besides, my 3 year-old P3 700 has more RAM than that piece of junk - 640MB!

Ah, go soak yer head, Uncle Scroog- er, Vask! He's getting the biggest, baddest horse in the county... just 'cause there's another horse in another county that might be bigger don't matter none, no matter how ancient that other horse might be.

'Course, as a dad, I do have some personal issues with the kids having a bigger PC than me... they'll have to build it themselves, first, I think.

I feel the man's happiness, but really what is the point in this thread other than to show off? well I suppose he could wish to share his happiness but it's more fun to take the piss

1) I'm getting it on X-Mas.
2) The computer I'm using right now SUCKS ALL!
3)I need to brag.
4)Yes Larry, bliss feels good.
5)Lord Kathen, I'm planning to get lots of good-graphiced games to make my Uber-Upgrade experience more enjoyable.Such as Halo for PC, HotU, Starwars: Jedi Academy, stuff my computer right now would run un-textured. Seriously I have to show you guys screen shots of Halo for PC! Anyone got free image hosting?
