I just started cooking some eggs, and as soon as they went into the pan, everything turned blue! I will not eat anything that is not supposed to do that, so needless to say, I still have not eaten anything, which sucks, cuz I really wanted some eggs oh well, there has to be something left over from yesterday.....

When you say "everything went blue", what does that mean, exactly? The yolks and whites went blue? As in REALLY blue? Did they look ok when you cracked them?

Ask yourself if your kids got anywhere near the eggs, the frying pan, or the oil with the blue food colouring.

If not, then it's a good call to not eat the stuff. I'd also take the rest of the eggs back to where you got them.

Blue? That's weird....
I will second Aerich's advice about the rest of the eggs, do not take chances.

these were not old, and no, we do not have food coloring here. when the eggs touched the oil, everything, the yolk, the whites, and the oil turned blue
