Has anyone here ever heard of a British comedy called "My Hero"? It is being broadcast on Public Television in Vermont and it's very odd. I think it replaced "Waiting For God" which was one of my favourites from England.

How old is the show and how many years did it last?

It's pretty silly, but the effects are interesting if cheap.

I agree, he doesn't seem right playing a superhero, no matter how incompetant, especially as it's not nearly as funny or sharp as Father Ted was. It is probably unfortunate to make this association so strongly, because I'm sure his other stuff is very funny.

FYI Skywalker, it is has been shown here in the UK over the past couple of years. I think there are 2 series (not entirely sure), but I don't know how many episodes in it each. The effects are cheap because it was filling the '8:30 sitcom' spot, a time not known for it's high budget programs.
