Memnoch, I think today, in a situation like this, all the lines between us are erased. Amen.

It's incredible how this can happen

I truly hope the planes who crashed were not hijacked in mid-air, that would be only make it worse

I´m an atheist, too, but never before in my life have I wished there was someone or something I could address a prayer to. The whole thing makes me cry.

in truth, I am wiccan...

will pray to the victims on the plane, the buildings, and ones who died in hospital afterwards....

ok here's the prayer I often used from the books

There is great sadness
the cherished ones has gone

Emptyness engulfs me
Loss languishes within
Help me bear this grief

Accompany their spirits
Comfort we who grieve
Let us rejoice in their life

May their essence be recorded
Renew our rememberance with peace

May the god(s) have mercy on those who did this.

For we will not

I will certainly offer my prayers.

I only wish I could offer more.

I am Wiccan/Catholic. I offer a prayer to all those souls that have died and are suffering, as well as to the survivors who will have to endure the loss of everything they knew, be it lost loved ones, lost security, and especially of a loss of a feeling of peace. May the Goddess watch over the world that we do not unbalance ourselves to the point of destruction.

I pray to anyone who will listen that the souls of the people with the poor, twisted minds capable of devising this plan will find peace. I cannot think of anyone who deserves to live that state.
