That reminds me of our exchange to England last school year. It was 18 hours by bus and ferry, none of us got any sleep. On the way back, the driver miscalculated so that, instead of 9 a.m., we arrived at 7 a.m.
We had to call our parents at 4 o'clock in the morning to inform them. They were not happy but hey, we hadnt gotten any sleep, why should they?

I have put things on top of the lights of the computer
Turned off all the lights except my bed lamp
If mom comes Ill turn off the monitor, grab a book, pretend I was reading ("What? It's quarter past one? Gosh I lost track of time")
I need the computer to be closer to my bed
Oh well

But ehm how are you gonna explain you were reading with all the lights off?

(i was so tierd i didn't even notests the lights were off?)
