Valygar's Quest, but he's dead

I found Valygar, but he then died and i didnt really think much of it, but i guess i need him to get into the Planar Sphere. Can i find him and somehow add him back to my party and have him resurected? OR is there another way to get into the sphere. seems to me it would be too bad if there were no other way.

His dead body works just fine. As a matter of fact, I have Valygar alive, and dead in my game. I guess I could put this under the 'wierd stuff' post. Valygar was hit by a Flesh to Stone spell. I cast Stone to Flesh and added him back into the party. I then went to pick up his dropped items, and one of them was his body! He is now carrying himself back to town.

that happend to me, and if you go to the cowled wizard before you enter the sphere you can get the reward for his killing, mana bow +4 i think. AND tolgireas turns up in the sphere so you will get nice XP as well,so happiness for everyone.

Too bad I already did the sphere. I could use that bow! Hey this is actually a SPOILER/CHEAT! You can kill Valygar and raise him, Use his body to get the reward and still have him for the rest of the game.

Actually, the mana bow's in the forest of Tethyr. Tolgerias just gives you the ring of the ram which you can pick up after you kill him anyway.
