Now, Azzie, you seem to be taking this rather badly. Perhaps it would do you some good to talk about your dark thoughts with a group of like-minded people. Just take a seat and share...

Share about my passion of world domination? Or maybe just maybe my plans to take over the world might be a delusion of grandeur? Na that couldnt be it.

Well, you know... I suppose you can at least understand online players... you spend all that time learning how to play UO, and then your character is born. You learn with him, you speak through him - he is, effectively, an extension of your personality, except he inhabits a universe that is a hell of a lot more interesting than this one. Slowly, you and he become closer and closer, as do the people you meet in that world. Your character meets new friends, and so through him you do too. Friends that you come to know and love, friends who will die to protect you, and vice versa. You begin to see your 'real' friends for the hypocritical creatures they are, and realise that life in a virtual world is so much more dramatic, so fulfilling than the one I live in real life. I become a part of an online family, enjoy life with some fantastic people and love some fantastic women. There are always dragons for me to slay, more heroics to win me more praise and gold. Everyone adores me, the hero, in that world. My companions stick by me through thick and thin; Minsc guarding my back, Imoen at my side and, holding my hand, the love of...

Erm.

Well, you get the idea.
