Looks like "to be continued" means on the big screen.

Farscape is a flagship show for The Jim Henson Company. We are proud of its achievements over the past four years, which have included international critical recognition, three Saturn Awards, and a recent Emmy nomination. As always, your show of support is a true inspiration for our company and has been integral to our success.

Although SCI FI Channel has chosen not to pick up a fifth season, The Jim Henson Company is in active development on a new Farscape film, an anime project and is currently discussing syndication of this highly acclaimed series. We are eager to move forward with the Farscape creative team in developing new projects that will resonate with our overwhelmingly loyal fan base.

Also sci fi has an email addy and phone number where fans can show thier support here. http://www.scifi.com/farscape/faq/

I guess you never watched Blake's 7, then. One of the most depressing endings ever.

In fact, the whole point of that series was how pointless the struggle was.

I always enjoy an ending more when the hero/heroes die. Gives a better sense of sacrifice. I hate it when everyone lives happily ever after, mainly because life's just not like that. Better to have the heroes die at the culmination of their struggles so that those that are left can carry the world in a new direction without 'heroic influence'.

that was a pretty sad ending to a great series. shame it ended. i can't really think of any series (series or serie?) that had a good ending. spiderman (the 90's cartoon version) ended badly (never got back mary jane) Red dwarf ended badly with a to be continued, but it never did. and oddesy 5 just got cancelled.
hold on...i remmember one, voyager had a good ending. lots of explosions and a happy ending. what could be better .

Actually, I think all of the ToB NPC endings sucked, except maybe Nalia's, and that wasn't that great. Like all of ToB, there is a rushed, incomplete feeling about them, like they figured them out in one story conference.

I have watched every single show. It was very depressing. However, Jim Henson group is in talks with other channels to make a 5th season.

Further there is a Farscape movie planned so it might pick up where if left off last night

I'd have had the wormhole not work, Pilot die, Them invade earth, and then Earth's military forces take the bad guys out, closing up the wormhole, Chriton and his love decide to spend the rest of their days on Chriton's homeworld living a simple life with a picket fense...

OR

The assasin be taken out at the last second by a quick-acting pilot, who gives his life to stop them but also lets moiya show off some fire power, resulting in the two main characters having a kiss that isn't their last... but one of many to come

Yeah I guess there's always a good excuse to use more puppets... >_>

Maybe they could collect Chritons and whats-her-face's (im not good with names) and mix them together to make a pseudo-son/daughter who is the combination of the two that would be cool...

A curious piece of Blake's Seven trivia...

Gareth Thomas, the actor playing Blake himself, was so determined that the BBC writers would not continue the story of Blake's Seven by resurrecting Blake that during the filming of the last episode, he kept filching extra packets of fake blood. Hence, the scene where he is killed is somewhat... enthusiastic, and the shocked looks on the faces of the cast are there for real.

But yes. A very dark series, Blake's Seven. *snif*
