*is not quite sure how to take that* Oh, btw, Kaltia's gonna be crushed, you forgot to add HER name. I suggest you start running right now, unless you wish to be pelted to death by spam j/k., Now, are you calling me a nerd because I happen to post more then you do? *dangerous tone* Just because I *happen* to be on a computing course, that gives me free 'net access during all lessons, save lectures... *evil glare* Oh wait, did you put *my* name next to Cloudys? I'm honoured, I think, and also slightly insulted... now, care to tell us what the point of this spam thread was?

LOL! If I could do that I´d follow your lead Warhammer. Some are really interesting though . Others I can live without. But of course I try to read fiction too. I´m reading Set in Darkness by Ian Rankin.

Troll.
Anyway Adelaide's so boring, he/she can be forgiven for:

1) Trolling - When Aussies are bored or want to make new friends we insult each other.

2) Stereotyping - Adelaidians are all so inbred, what else would you expect?

Actually, the point of this whole thread is a confusion about the terms. A "nerd" is an unstylish, unattractive, or socially inept person; especially one slavishly devoted to intellectual or academic pursuits. A "geek" is a person often of an intellectual bent who is disapproved of. I think that the two are not the same, except for the "intellectual" part. And, of course, they are both insults. So, I guess that I would say that we are somewhat geeky, but only if you disapprove of us, which I certainly do not. So, the answer is, to quote LoA, "No."

The definition of Nerd is, much like Attalus said, a person with limited social skills, with a talent for all things technical.
Meaning: I'm no nerd (How can this be?! HOW?!)
