Darkstone is a great game, but in all my different games I've never come across langolin. Is he somewhere special or does anyone know where I can find the elusive fellow. Thank you, keep on slaying.

According to the doc's there are 21 quests, picked at random each time you initiate a game - no quest is land specific. Similar to your experience, it took me 7 games to get the Rolland quest. Langolin is part of the immortality quest (He starts in the land, and then meets you in the lowest dungeon level - you need to listen to him - he tells you what you need to get the crystal). I've always killed him at the 4th dungeon level without giving him the potions . Eventually this quest will come up - I know of no way to force it. One thing I do know, though, if you play a game done with the quest editor, it is exactly the same each time.
