A lot tougher? Heh, my life's always been tough bud, just another challenge I have to step up and face is all. I've already helped raise two little girls who are my baby cousins, I think I'm prepared to an extent of what comes this way.

Congratulations, Gangrell! And Larry, and whomever else might have children on the way.

Congrats, Gangrell. It'll make a man of you. A sleepy, grumpy man, but a man, nonetheless.

Also, aren't you a bit resentful about missing out on the (relatively) carefree late teens/early twenties (study doesn't count as a worry )? [ 07-31-2005, 08:36 PM: Message edited by: Vaskez ]

Congratulations Gangrell. I'm sure missing those college parties will be worth it!

congrats again, I know I have not called recently, but you know how things are here right now. when I was preg with my second, I did not know for 3 months, and when I went in labor, did not even know it, just thought my back hurt is all so you can be preg and not know it.

Resentment, anger, frustration, and such are choices you make in how to deal with what life offers you. My marriage came later (25), and my kids came later yet (31). Now my daughter is 8, and a buddy of mine who's just a couple years older already has a grandchild by his oldest married daughter.
I can't always choose what life throws at me, but I can choose how to respond to it. Yeah, Gangrell might be skipping the college parties. But he's also opening the possibility of being able to send kids out the door into the real world before he's 40, and recreate his own life then. And that ain't all bad... believe me.
