On every good Gen Discussion board there needs to be a thread for music, so I took it into my own hands to make one! Go me!

Please put your favorite music inputs into this format:

Favorite Genre (don't just say "rock", say what kind)
Favorite Band + genre it's in (doesn't have to be in favorite genre)
Favorite Song + artist who wrote it (doesnt have to be by favorite band)
Favorite Line in a song + the song + the band (doesnt have to be in fav song)

Example:

Alternative Rock
Creed; Post-Grunge
Lightning Crashes; Live; Alternative Rock
"If the truth will set you free/I feel sorry for your soul/Can't you hear the ringing 'cause for you the bell tolls"; Freedom Fighter; Creed

The examples are my favorites, btw

P.S. Don't trash other ppl's choices please

What if they're tied? To the point of absurdity? As in...

Classic Rock/Showtunes
AC/DC, Enigma
You Shook Me All Night Long (AC/DC), Gravity of Love (Enigma)
"Slowly, gently, night unfurls its splendor/Grasp it, sense it, tremulous and tender/Turn your face away from the garish light of day/Turn your face away from cold unfeeling light/And listen to the music of the night." -Music of the Night, The Phantom of the Opera

Classic Rock
Rush / Progressive Rock
Nobody's Hero / Rush

When we are young / Wandering the face of the earth
Wondering what our dreams might be worth
Learning that we're only immortal for a limited time

Of that line, the last line is the best.

Favourite song varies day to day - currently -
Manhattan by Eric Johnson

Favourite ever lyric>

But I found a little reason for living,

I am far too indecisive to pick a fave, but I guess I shall have a try.

Genre: I suppose you would call it Gothic Rock or Alternative?
Band: Voltaire - Gothic Rock/Comedy
Song: Pet / A Perfect Circle
Line: "And superheros, come to feed, on the flesh, not yet deceased" - Suprheroes - The Rocky Horror Picture Show

I know I am going to want to change these answers every 10 minutes
