They said it's a 3 right now, but it can, and very well may, move right back up to a 4.

Another IW member lives in central Florida with Ziroc and Choc.

VulcanRider just sold his house in Lakeland and moved this past week. Fortunately, they haven't actually signed the closing papers on the Lakeland house yet, so he and his brother are retreating back to it until Frances passes.

This girl is going to have a HUGE impact on almost the ENTIRE STATE of Florida - from Miami all the way up to Jacksonville and Panama City.

Ziroc - you and VulcanRider don't need to "dig in" at Lakeland...you guys need to retreat to western NC. We'll get a bucketload of rain, but the winds won't be so bad and there won't be ANY flooding. It would also be a good time for an impromptu IW Reunion.

So come on up, man. We got plenty of room in the hotels around here.

OK, seriously, you guys be safe and stock up on what you can. I figure IW will be scrapped for several days once Frances hits - but maybe you'll get lucky and it will stay a Category 3. Either way, let us know how you are doing as soon as she is gone.

I'm not sure if I'd take the weatherman's word at face value. IIRC, he didn't do to well predicting the size of the last one.

We're getting STRONG wind and rain from a band of storms from the hurricane NOW. But our 'danger zone' will be from 2PM EST till 8PM EST Sunday. But we could lose power anywhere from now till then or even until Monday, so you'll know whats up if you get a 404 error

I'll check in again tomorrow morning guys!
