I´ve been on this board for quite a while now and no one here seems to use halberts. Why not, there are some great ones in the game and they have the same stats as two-handed swords.

It's a mystery. There are at least three +4 halberds in the game.

And one of them can be gotten off a weak dwarven fighter. A +4 weapon, my 1st +4 weapon!!!!
They are well enchanted but doesn't have powerful abilities, other than just extra dam.

Are you kidding me? Ravager +5 is (in my opinion) is the best weapon in the game. Vorpal weapon 10% of the time, no save. A chance of 3-18 poison damage.

Well, the problem with halberds is they are very slow. Yes, Ravageris very nice weapon (one of the best in my opinion) but it is unavailable in SoA.

The Wave is a great weapon, and when confronting flaming creatures, it's flat out the best in the game.

Ravager is +6 at its max. Definitely one of the top 5 weapons in the game - the ToB game that is.

Its strange, whenever i get a halberd, I go wow, look at that baby, she rocks. The I look at my party and go, oh, no one is really specialized for a halberd. Currently I have Haer d'alis using a spear +3 with +10 peircing. Its not the best weapon he could use, as he likes to dual wield, but it does heaps of damage. The only npc who might appreciate a halberd would be Keldorn and Minsc, but there are better weapons for them to use...
