What T.O.S rule did this thread break? Just for clarity's sake.
http://www.ironworksforum.com/ubb/no...;f=27;t=001645 Many thanks Yorick. |

I believe that because you criticise George Bush you are by default critising ever US Citizen and the whole "American Way".
This is covered under the section about "country bashing"

Actually, I would guess that the second thread was locked since it duplicated another thread. And I suspect this thread will be locked before too long also, since it is itself a violation of the T.O.S. Remember the words of the sagely Mods, Yorick, my friend -

Very good Donut! You receive a double dunk of chocolate coating.
I cannot say why it was closed, but it appears that you are right. Let me add this. I would also say that Yorick sounds like he was daring anyone to contest his opinion, which in certain lights could be considered as a baiting tactic. Maybe that has something to do with the thread being closed as well. It was the words he chose to use rather than the message he was presenting. Well...now that I think about it...Cerek is also right. Two topics on the same page, the second one only to attract attention since the first one was not. Wow...three strikes! Yorick, you silly git, you broke the "Sometimes Z just gets sick of anti-American rants, and reserves the right to close threads as he sees fit" Rule. As if you didn't know that.
You see that little car that goes zipping around here? It's called a Moderator Fiat -- get over it. |

Yes, this one does clearly break the rules. Yorick, pm the boss about it if you aren't sure why something is closed. Posting like this to ask, despite the ToS, just makes more work for the mods.
