I must have waited too long to go to the Keep. I only found 1 piece of dogmeat lying in the courtyard area. No dogs to be found. How do I kill the Umber Hulks? Can anyone help?

Once you enter the courtyard the dogs have red rings under them, so if you party has attack scripts the would kill the stright off. If not the chances are they are still alive but hidden up aganist the wall, makes them and the meat they drop hard to see. (never heared of the dogs just diyying before you got there before.)
If you just want to kill the umber hulks.... er.. I normally used the cloudkill spell as cast from a scroll, wand or character. If you don't have these and unless you high level I don't know how to do it.
If you can turn invisable and have a potion of invisablity you could turn invisable enter the room with your main character, runn down an alley do something to make you visable, the umber hulks chase you drink the potion when there all in the alley. Walk out and shut the door, but you need to be very lucky.

Thanks! I'll go back and search for the dogs. If they are not there I suppose it could be a bug. I drank a potion of invisability and checked out the area with the bones. I didn't try drawing them into the hall yet. But that sounds like it might work. Thought I'd never say it, but I'd rather kill some dogs.

You normally can see characters behind the walls of forts. If you can't see them they probavly have been killed. The meat will take some pretty hard searching.

Just a couple of tips:

a. If you have ToB Installed, pressing the TAB key will highlight any loot lying around on the ground as well as containers.

b. Under the graphics options, you can choose "Dither Always" (or something like that) - that way all characters can still be partially seen even if hidden by a wall.

if you dont have cloudkill spell, summoning monsters or animals will do the trick. cast haste on them send them in the room and let them do the whacking. after finishing the quest inside youll find dogmeat outside the castle and according to my previous games they dont mean a thing.

You can use the dogmeat to distract the Umber Hulks, and get more Xp...

Jamgood, use the console to warp the meat in.

Heres a tip for beating TorGal.

The Call woodland being spell summons a Nymph, which knows hold monster. If your lucky TorGal will be held. Attract TorGal out by using sancturary. TorGal will see you but the other two won't. TorGal can slow and/or hold you. You mut distract him, with summons or something.
And heres A few complimentary smilies

For some reason, Torgal is one of the few tough monsters, which is killed by a cloudkill spell. His fellow trolls will survive the cloud, but he will die 100% (at least he did in all my games...)

Use Cloudkill, close the door. If you close the door even the ones that make the saving throws will eventually die if they make it to the door they will eventually fail their saving throw and have nowhere to go.

You can still place the dog soup in the area you need to to gain experiance.
