I'd like to see him tortured on an iron maiden with the sounds of "RAGH! IARGHG! GNIADH! URRRGH!"
Or, sitting him on a chair with about a hundred pounds of gasoline which will go off if he gets up, and place food, women and drink all around him just out of his reach. The same music in the background(RAGH! IARGHG! GNIADH! URRRGH!).
Is it clear so far that I don't like Saddam much?

They should hand him over to the Iraqi authorities. They should be the ones to decide what his fate will be, not some foreign council or something. I'm sure the Iraqi's know exactly how to handle this.

I agree, this is Iraq's decision.

Curious that people so eager to dennounce Hussein for his atrocities against human rights thoroughly advocate inhumane treatments for him.

Personally, I dislike the choice of options for the poll. Yes, I think he should be executed, but in a "humane" manner, if such a thing is possible. Doing any of the suggested things up there is sinking to his level, imo, and makes you just as bad as he was/is. But thats just my point of view.

Am I the only the only one who doesn't want Saddam to die. *goes hide behind couch evading the tomatos and knives*

I am not saying his good or anything like that. So lets say we do kill him then what? His execution would very swift and quick. In fact in my opinion we are just giving a key to of not being misrable in prison for the rest of his years. I believe he is misreable right now thinking "Dammit! Them Yankees taken over my country! And ruined my plans for the future! I forced to hide in a hole for months and they find me!" Putting him to death will free him of his feeling of failure.

Well thats MY opinion! So don't try to ..... (can't find a right word for this moment) because what I think! And thats as they say is that.

P.S. I meant to post this in this thread instead of the other Saddam thread.

Great post Jerome

Its good for us all to let of a little steam but at the end of the day it would be better if the Iraq people where allowed to try him for the crimes against humanity. A proper court case live on Iraq TV every day. Justice must be seen to be done.

In my honest opinion, death is too good for him and he needs to rot in a cell for a very long time. Harsh maybe, but after I'll I've heard he's done, there really isn't a punishment 'too harsh' to be given to someone like him. Considering all that he's done to Iraq, I will agree that it is their decision to do as they please with him, I'm just glad that he's finally caught. Now at least we know this will hamper any loyalists and resistance he might have left.

Nothing curious about it, what goes around comes around. Would you rather give a light punishment or none at all despite what he's done? I'd think not.
