Mine is when I was 2. I pulled on a cord while crawling around the floor and a hot iron fell on my hand . I still have a barley distinguishable mark on my hand. I have quite a few memories between 3 and 5, they are either very pleasant, traumatic, or embarrassing. I think the embarrassing ones you remember because no one lets you forget .

Christmas when I was around four or so... got a set of kiddie golf clubs. Not that I could use them well or anything...

I think I was about two. I was standing next to a chair. I remember how huge it looked... And then my mum sat me on the bench by the wall and I started playing with a weather house (I don't know if this is the right word for it - one of those small things that are supposed to tell if it'll rain...), and then my great grandma said I could keep it. I still have it. And this is also the only memory I have of my great grandma.

What was the question???

Ah, yes, I remember running around in a little saucer on wheels... anyway, my mum left the basement door open and well, you know the rest... I don't remember tumbling down the stairs but I definately remember the landing (and the pain that followed)

Anyway, I was about 1 1/2.

The bombing of Aldershot Barracks by the IRA in 1972. I remember the noise and the rush of warm air. I lived very close to the barracks. Several people were killed.

2 or 3 years old, I had this very nice toytruck I played with in my sandbox and the neighborhood bully stole it... I remember my mom very angry about it, don't remember if I got it back... I also remember about the same time (same house, my mum told me we lived there for 3 years after I was born) watching the Muppets on a black and white tv... and also... (lots of memories from that place coming back now) I remember doing an experiment of putting a Donald Duck Comic down behind the livingroom radiator to see if it would go all the way through to the floor... which it didn't... and I cried about loosing my comic... should have used something else...
