hehe at least our royal family is fun

Well Where they do get the name from?
well The Netherlands used to be separated povinces (that's why i sometimes call it the United Provences of the Netherlands) and one of them was Gelre

Gelderland is Eastern Holland. Biggest City is Apeldoorn with 160000 (which is big in Dutch terms) others are province capital Arnhem (about 156000} and Nijmegen (150000) though in any other country Arnhem and Nijmegen would be seen as one city together with the little villages which are attached to eachother.

We don;t like big cities in the Netherlands because else we would be one big city and our National park would be a city park
