Moni! I’m a married man.

Plus we can’t have you running around the Caribbean in a miniskirt or bikini, the whole population would explode. Then what kind of a tourist destination would it be?!?

(Batting eyelashes with a look of TOTAL innocence)

Why Sir!
Did I state anything to imply that I would lure you away from your darling wife, who I have the utmost respect for in her ability to snare a one of a kind man like you? One who would paint her toenails AND rub lotion and powder on her sweet lil 'ol feet? I don't believe I did! I would never think of it! Me and a married man! Heck, Sir! I don't even attempt to tempt the single ones! You pull your mind out of the gutter and hope your wife never reads these posts!

As far as me running around in the Caribbean in a mini skirt or bikini, well what can I say? Should I send warning first that I am arriving so that those innocent citizens can prepare and know to look the other way? At least that way, the ones who explode, we would know, would be the kind of persons the population doesn't need anyway...you know, the ones who ogle and stare and make a lady uncomfortable to even be in their presence!

Moni,

I have no doubt, about your integrity and would not dream to sincerely call into question your character. I would never intentionally infer that about a lady like yourself. But it sure was fun to chide you! Even if it were a bit of a stretch. My humble apologies for my somewhat sadistic sense of humor. Will the morally upright and incorruptible lady forgive me?

Of course my friend!
I know this is all in fun and I am sorry if I alarmed you in my eagerness to participate!
Chide me all you like, I can chide right back!

I believe this is what we can call an understanding.

I didn't really think you were mad at me (at least I hoped that wasn’t the case). But the clarity you provided is nice.

Ah CloudSparkle, it was only intended to flatter. Honest!

"Hey, what are you doing?"

"Stop batting those eyelashes!"

onthepequod thinks to himself; "if I just close my eyes then her wily plans will be foiled."

Unfortunately, like the Gazelle being stalked by the Lion in the mid-summer Savanna grass, onthepequod panics, as he closes his eyes, and tries to run.

WHAP!!! As onthepequod loses consciousness, he thinks to himself "darn wall."

"This will never do" CloudSparkle thinks to herself. Feeling deprived of the chase and a potential kill wrought by her own skill, she stalks off in utter disappointment.

Several hours later onthepequod gets up and slowly staggers off in the general direction of someplace, he doesn't quite remember. It's all a little hazy for the time being. All he knows is that after the initial pain of running into the wall wore off, the residual numb/buzzing sensation feels kind of nice.
