Int is for mages. period. If your a fighter, but it at 3. I have noticed one thing where it has an effact on the game (as a fighter) forst time I went thru I imported and had a decent int, and when the Solufian guy in underark asked me if I knew what a "devourerer" was my only choice was to say you mean a Illithid? and he said yes thats what they call themselves. Second time I played I but myinl at the minium and all I could say was "Ummm, a Outyugah(spelling) and he said NO YOU DOLT! so since that had no real affect on the gameplay, I would reccomend minimizng intlegence, make wisdome as high as that affects your saving throws, and minimize cha, as theyr are some high cha NPC's that can buy and sell for you, and wnayway theres a 5 minute quest right in the very begining of the game that can boost your cha to 18, so you should sue the cha/int pointselse where. Hope this helps!

Hey, you should check Aracanum. If your int is low, you start speaking as an Ogre!

A high wisdom also give you bonuses to your saving throws. They start at +1 (15) to +4 (18).

Actually, having intelligence as low as 3 makes you seriously vulnerable to illithid mind drains. Each hit takes off 4 intelligence and then after you hit 0 you die. So don't be so hasty to create a moron fighter. A little smarts helps.

a good int and wis score is about 9. that way you can have decent saving throws, can use scrolls for protection and such, and can survive a hit from an illithid.

And then there are those of us who actually enjoy roleplaying instead of mere powergaming. Having a 3 int would be like pretending to be a vegetable or something.

Hrmm, I wonder what a brussel sprout would say in this sort of situation ?

So sayeth the GOD OF WAR!

I've planned to have a decent intelligence. So I'll not run around as a total idiot. Thanks for all the comments. They are great.

again, this is the RP vs Powergame issue

int 3 is just absurd, 9 is average, how can your godly hero be such an idiot with 3 int?
