Sean Connery (I just want him in the film) for Elminster, or maybe even Keldorn?
I like the idea of Danny de Vito for Jan! And I´m thinking Cher for Bodhi, and good ol´ Nastascha Kinsky could be Jaheira. I know this is a bit of an old cast, but hey!, Leonardo DiCapprio could get a small part as the half-demonic Haer D´alis, he could do the famous magic trick: Get rescued and then disappear.
AND, ladies and gentlemen: The Protagonist is........SPOILER AHEAD

He is the hero from the legendary Evil Dead trilogy: Evil Dead I+II and Army of Darkness.
He immortalises his name by putting a chainsaw on his arm to fight Evil (he has been forced to sever the hand because it got infested with Evil and turned on him! Some spectacular stunts...). This is (for all you americans - jus´ kiddin´) supposed to be humorous. Very humorous indeed...

Yeah, I also saw Sean Connery as Keldorn. Unfortunately he is a bit to old...?

Hey guys! Who would you like to see as Drizzt?

Aah, I've seen Evil dead one (many, many moons ago). I think I recall the guy. Tx.

P.S. Where in London Gil Galad? There are a good few Londoners on these boards, I'm in the Norwood area myself.

Sean Connery can pull off an excelent Keldorn. I woul recommend Jeremy Irons for Irenicus (Die Hard III)
Hale Barry for Viconia - excelent idea.
Minsc is hard to cast - need a young muscular guy. If Cameron Diaz could act, she would make a good Imoen. Calista FLockhart is good choice for Aerie. For Korgan I picture John Rhys-Davies - he played Professor on Sliders and currently plays Gimli in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Leonard DeCrapio deserves to play
1) some random beggar to be killed to lower the reputation
2) Neeber to be killed for annoyance factor
3) green slime? rat?... better just keep him far away from the movie.

I have seen the light! Minsc is to be played by none other than Bruce Willis (I hope it's not one Bruce too many...). And, yes, we are some out here who actually likes the guy.

I'm in Maida Vale, I haven't a clue as to where Norwood is. North London, maybe?
