My crazy fearless child just fell head first to the floor, as we heard a thump on the hard wood floor, followed by screaming. She is starting to get old enough to think she can go where she wants, yet too young to understand that damn gravity thing. What's a poor dad to do??

>>>by the way, onthepequed...I know you're out there somewhere...ever get those pics. of your dog in your wife's nighty?

Um...get one of those small trampolines and put it next to the crib!

Seriously, is she hurt? Falls can be terrible on a small child, as they can on the elderly.

Hope she's ok!

hmm, my parents tell me that i used to do that when i was a baby and confined to the crib... guess i was too adventurous to be confined to small spaces at that age! i turned out well enough, but then again, i never heard about me hitting my head on the floor... is she okay?

When my daughter got big enough that she could climb out of her baby bed, we picked up a toddler bed from KMart. IIRC they weren't too expensive - about 60 or 70 USD - and I put it together in about 10 minutes.

Hope she's alright man that stuff can sicken a father. When a friend of mine's son kept getting out of his crib they just bought him a bed. he was about 1 1/2 or something though so he might be older, but I hope your girl's alright.

Is it bad if her lips are blue??? (j/k)

Sorry, a bit o' humor there...Seriously, I was able to get her quiet and laughing within minutes...she would just cry for mom, but with me...well...she is different.
We are both eager to see the size of the knot on her head in the morning...

I have two boys, it's rare they don't have knot's. I am glad she is not seriously hurt. Good Luck with her, she is adorable.
