what is the max level for a character?

im kinda curious.. im kinda stumped which i should take since im a fallen druid/shapeshifter/cleric- stats lvl 5,15,2.. so i dont know which i should concentrate on.. cleric or druid (have to go back to neutral first though)

I would think Druid, as you would make your shapeshifting abilities a bit stronger, would you not? Though if you needed a cleric, two levels is not much for spells. You might pick up the book and see what you will have made available to you in the cleric levels...to see if there are spells worth caring about having.

I do not know personally. I have not tried that combo yet

actually i found out my shapeshifter was level 10 not 15 opps.. however, actually, what im interested in is that I would use my cleric spells for healing and buffing (and long range attacks if possible) before shapeshifting (drow, drider, etc,) which retains the bonuses.. or druid as well...

also i have domain magic and protection (i think thats whats its called) that would give me additional protection when its needed
