But would you need to be educated as to the benefits of exercising?

Hmmm... we're in danger of going on a cyclical argument here

As long as the government doesnt spend tax money on welfare for lazy ghetto bastards or spends tax money on aid to other counties for the lazy ghetto bastards there , then I dont care what they spend tax money on.

I think Education and transportation are the only two legitimate reasons for collecting taxes on the list. (Im speaking of the US here)
If people are educated, they should be smart enough to plan for their own futures and welfare, not depend on the government to forcibly take things from others and redistribute it.

I share your sentiments, but well... heh, I wouldn't have phrased it that way

Unfortunately, the world isn’t that simple.
a welfare state is generally resulting in a better overall quality of life for everyone.

You know what I find interesting?

No one has voted for welfare I was under the impression that many people supported that, especially in the Western countries.

Maybe the sample isn't representative enough

That’s because any true government that has it’s peoples best interests at heart, will spend vast amounts of money on all of these, and slightly cut the military budget as well.
