Is it just me, or does every Shania Twain song sound the same, just different lyrics. I can't believe I just wasted $20 on her new CD!

Then again, I suppose it's not the song that attracts people, but more the video's.

I tolerate her well. Not my favorite line of music, but nice to listen to on occasion. You are right that all her music has the same "tones" or "feel"...hell, even the same melody in alot of them..but I have noticed that this is not out of the ordinary. Alot of musicians today sound the same in all their songs. There is a young band out of Boston on the radio al the time...do not know their names...but they sound as though they are singing different verses of the same song in all thier whole history of music making! I mean...I can hear a new release for the first time, be able to call the moment that the guitar solo is coming, and usually get the chords right, never having heard it before!
So many wanna-be's these days...
But...back to Shania...at least she's a hottie!

You got that right, Animal, I just like the videos. I liked the song That Don't Impress Me Much but her singing talent strangely enough does the same thing.

Fortunately, I heard the album before buying - and avoided the waste.
Is it supposed to be country music then? Maybe it was marketed as such as some point, but it sounds like mediocre middle-of-the-road pop music to me...

Since she married pop rock producer Mutt Lange, she's popped up quite a bit.
