The title says all : So ... What did you do during the big Break ?

Me ? Came back from vacation, got bored at work, read a lot, stayed in touch with Clouddy, Epona, Wolfie, Sir Tainly, Father Bronze, Reeka, LadyWendy and, of course, Stealthy, on Stealthy's site, cleanned my house, walked under the unrelenting rain, cleaned some more, read some more, all the while disturbing Clouddy with pessimistic guesses about the Board comeback time (which turned out to be a little optimistic - my bet was yesterday ).

Oh, BTW, give a warm welcome to Reeka, she fell ill and had a surgery last week, and is still a bit tired. Reeka, a big hug to you !

And what about you guys ?

I got so bored while I waited for Ironworks to come back up, I started playing Ultima Ascension again. Needless to say, I'm glad to be back on the forum again!

Sorry Aurican, I posted this thread, and THEN I saw you posted the same on the Polls section (which may be more appropriate, sure).

I considered deleting this thread, but I thought that this way, maybe more people will answer ?

I started working out again (6 times a week), lost 7lbs of 'blubber', took an orienteering course, started training for rock climbing, finished the majority of my schoolwork, caught up on 'work' work, and continued to work on my marriage. All and all a pretty enjoyable couple of weeks.

I did miss all of you though

Well,

I was busy looking for a flat (mission accomplished) and a new job ( a couple of interviews coming up the next two weeks), have started to prepare the move (on Sunday), tried to comfort Cloudy a bit, had friends over for dinner on Easter Sunday, had to correct a critical chapter of a research paper for university I thought I had already been over with for good, checked an average of twice a day if the board was up again, started to memorize any single article of the NBA section of ESPN.com, had a stint as an one-day intern as a teacher at a private language school ... well, that is about it.

Ramon, hi ! That is a busy couple of weeks you had, for sure. Makes me ashame to have done so little ...

Slackerboy, sorry to hear about your misfortunes - and sorry we couldn't give you at least a big hug to comfort you a bit. So get the big hug now from me, and a couple of kisses too on your big jelly nose.

Gee, I think I will hug and kiss everybody tonight. I missed you so much !

You are still on the email hook! LOL

I emailed...well nothing new for me! I read some, listened to music, did some housework, looked at flower catalogs and did some thinking about plantings in my garden. Lots of phone calls to friends and family and some housekeeping on my computer. Got high speed cable modem and changed my email address.

Thanks, Moiraine, but don't forget: you are working full-time and are a mom !

Sorry, Cloudy had lured me away from the board and into a IMing death match, hopeless endeavor trying to keep up with her at that !

Slackerboy, sorry to hear that.
