Sazerac is no longer with us...You lost him to Oz. Right now, he is being attacked by multiple flyng monkeys...damn shame, too!
And all he has to do is put on those little red slippers, and he can come back...but you know how prideful he is...Red would not go with his outfit.!

Ziroc: Yes, (STILL laughing from the above) I'm fine. Everything was over about 90 minutes after it started. We were without power for 45 minutes, then it came back on again.

A tornado set down about 2 miles north of us, I found out today...it hit Texas Women's University (at least, the golf course). The place is in a shambles, debris all over the place, but no one, miraculously, was hurt. No buildings were destroyed either.

I don't even want to go into the state of our yard.

I know what I'M going to be doing this weekend. *sigh* But I should count my blessings.

Thanks so much for your concern! That really means a lot to me.

Glad you are OK!
The storm that went through here last night was worse than I had initially thought. No tornadoes or hail but high wind and sheets of rain, lots of lightning to boot. I too, have a mess to clean up in my yard...some branches I was going to prune this weekend are already down on the ground waiting to be picked up along with a few I had planned to leave alone.
Three of our cats were caught out in it but managed to know where to hide and came in afterwards relatively dry and no worse for the wear.
