Hi to everyone.

This is my first post here and I wanted to say hello to everyone.

In my eagerness to get SOMEthing done, I have recently been working on some icons which I have posted here: http://www.freewebs.com/hauntedhollow/dungeoncraft.htm

I know they aren't perfect but I don't think they are too bad for a first attempt. If anyone wants to use them, feel free.

Hopefully, I'll be starting to work on a mod/campaign for DC soon, so I'll post here again if I have any news.

Once again, nice to meet everyone.

Thanks Hivetyrant.

I agree about the Ogre, it does look like the predator That's the one I am least happy with.

I am working on more so I'll add to them as I go along.

Those are some great icons. I especially like the dragon and otyugh (and DC can always use more monster icons). I can't wait to see more.

I just saw your Greater Demon- very nice. I've done some Outer Planes creatures (you can find them by following the link below) and would some day like to do a huge campaign set in the lower planes...but not a Planescape setting, just standard 2nd Ed AD&D.
Keep 'em coming!

Thanks for the kind words Manikus. The demon was probably the toughest one to do so far, but I think it turned out ok.

I think a campaign in the lower planes would be good. Did you have ideas for a story line and so on?

I'm playing around with DC and trying to learn how to use it so I can get started on something. I don't have any concrete ideas yet, but I'll certainly post when I do.

One quick question. I downloaded the template for the art and was thinking about trying to do some wilderness combat walls but noticed that it had a set palette. Can they have 24 bit colour like the icons or do I have to use the set palette?

EDIT: Oh, I forgot. I have checked out the icons on your site and they are excellent. I have found the standards on pretty much all the DC artwork I have seen to be top rate. I especially liked the stuff that was displayed in the art competition not too long ago. Are there any plans to do another one of those?

Telwyn,
I checked out your page, great human thief and the dragon. I download all the icons and keep at it. Which paint program do you use?
Right now I am working with Pixia I am also reading all the FRUA newsletters.

I'm using Neopaint. It's pretty simplistic in some ways but it does what I need and I've been using it for some time so I know how to use it pretty well and what it's capable of.

The wilds can be at 24 bit just like everything else. They were probably just at 256 b/c they were originally FRUA wilds.
Kaltusara has some good wilds on his page-
