Anyone got any good riddles?

I couldn't sleep for a week with this one.

You are trying to escape a dark dungeon. You see two doors before you. There is a guard at each door. One door leads to freedom, and the other leads to certain death. One guard will always tell the truth, and the other will always lie to you. What ONE question could you ask to find out which door leads to freedom?

In the question you ask, you can't roll two questions in to one.

I heard this riddle many moons ago but forget the specific question to ask. At the moment I would ask one of the guards -

"Am I talking to you" - The liar must answer "No" whilst the honest one must answer "yes"

This is of course assuming that the liar guards the door to certain death.

Any good?

One love, peace.

which way would the other guy point to me that leads to freedom?"

the liar will point the way to doom, the honest guy will point the way to doom. just pick the other way.

That would require asking two questions. One to each guard.

now, it wouldnt, only ask once, since they both point the same way

no matter who you ask, he points at the way to doom, just pick the other

250 is right. I hope to god that it took you a while to figure it out, because I was frustrated for the better part of a week. Charlies answer would actually take two questions because Even though it would establish which is the liar and which tells the truth, it does not tell you which door to take.

Anyone else have any good riddles?
