I don't think Dallas has much use for him in their particular style of play. It's mostly run and gun with the Mavs, with additionally a few exellent long range shooters. Malone isn't much of a long range shooter, and running at his age is also out of the question.

And indeed, Portland fell short in the final 4 minutes, it all started with sabonis fouling out, and Portland losing possession, when at that time they were only down 2 points. Great performances from Nowitzki and Van Exel.

For the 9th time in 11 years of consecutive playoffbasketball, the Blazers are out in the first round. This must be very frustrating, especially this time. They were so close to making history.

Round two is on it's way. San Antonio beat the Lakers. Are they gonna be the ones who knock the Lakers off the throne ?

No, you're not dreaming, they lost indeed. Like they did all year during regular season against san antonio. I only hope the Spurs keep that performance up in the playoffs, and finally free the world of that Lakers plague.

Stern will have the refs make sure the Fakers get to the finals.
That is why I watch NHL instead

Not exactly, more like a Michael Jordan fan. When he left the Bulls, my interrest in them quickly dissapeared. I've been a Knicks fan for as long as i can remember, although when facing Michael, they haven't always been that succesfull.

Pistons took Game 1 against Philly. They're lookin' good now; four wins in a row. But Billups got hurt. I hope he's not out long, he's a key component of the Pistons' backcourt.
