LOL, aren't we in a concise mood today?
I do assume you mean the epic poem by Milton, not the gothy metal band?
So what are YOUR thoughts on it?

To answer your question I would hope that anyone who'd read it had many things to say about it but I've never read the whole work. I did read Milton's Lycidas and his Samson Agonistes though, anyone else? (I hope not, it's actually been a while and I'd have to drag up memories from the deepest recesses of my poor brain )

Anyway I've read parts of course so while I'm not exactly in a position to spout broad sweeping genius insights into the workings of the poem, I can at least say that its language is beautiful and unique. Apart from that there's really nothing much to say other than I'd love to be able to recite parts by heart. So far I've gotten to "Of Man's first disobedience and that forbidden fruit whose mortal taste brought death into the world, and all our woe, with loss of Eden.... erm.... sing, Heavenly Muse"

Epic, but not without it's faults.

And no, I haven't read it all yet. But i'm getting there.

And the band by the same name are great, I should point out.
