The difference, Lionheart, is between a solo game and a game with other characters. When I've had more than one character in the party, insane means you're done. With Missy, she was insane, but I could still control her actions. Didn't try to cure her, though; I figured at the time that a quick run to the temple was my best action, in case she suddenly went completely insane.
