Which do you find more entertaining to watch? And which one is funner to play?

IMHO, Soccer is much better and more entertaining. It provides an oppritunity to do many diffirent tactics. Playing it is extremely fun also(I´m always on defence, thats the only thing im good at(in football). I havent tried being one of the attackers much and i totally suck at being the goalkeeper ).

And the second sport, American Football.. what ive seen so far is pretty boring.. It`s like wrestling with teams - "This huge hairy guy jumps on that huge hairy guy.. and takes the ball!!" And it isn`t international, which makes it even more boring for me. But i can`t say anything about playing it, because i haven`t played it(and probaly will never get the chance to do so since i live in Europe AND i wouldnt even want to play it).

A note to all you Ironworksians - The text above is simply my insignificant opinion, so please, do not start bitching.

Soccer for both!
Soccer is the most popular sport in the world! 203 countries play Professionally. Do you know why it is the most popular sport in the world? - Beacuse the majority of people think it is more entertaining and fun to play than any other sport.

Yeah, I also hate the word 'Soccer' but I don`t want to confuse anyone.

And yes, Football(soccer) is more fun and that`s a proven fact . I know it`s a matter of taste and opinion, but it JUST IS more fun

Definitely football (proper football, not that funny thing that Americans play with a funny shaped ball).

Just waiting for Donut and Lanesra to appear in this thread!

I have been monitoring the situation Epona. Perhaps we could avoid confusion if we call football 'football' and call American football 'pointy football'

BTW - The Houston WHATS!

In my humble opinion...

Professional Team sports in general are a waste of time... ALL of them.

PT Sports in general involve a lot of overpaid, overgrown 10 year olds whining about how little they make.

PT Sports in general involve strategy that's barely a challenge to those overgrown 10 year olds, and puts me to sleep faster than watching the grass grow.

Professional Football or Soccer? Which is more technical? Neither. Which is better? Who cares...

Team sports for children provide an important growth oportunity... that's the only real value of such activities imo, and at that point it doesn't matter a whit which activity someone chooses to participate in.
