Seven months. Man, that is one long, long time. I feel for you!
Just remember: wherever you go, as long as you have friends, you're always home. And we're always your friends, man. Cheers, ------------------ |

Sorry to hear you're feeling kinda down there Yorick. I can only imagine how difficult it would be to be away for that long. Especially in New York. New York is a great place to visit and to go vacation at, but if you are there for too long, the underside of the city becomes all too apparent. New York is probably one of the worst cities to live in by yourself. With so many people there, all so sucked into their own lives so that they don't even see you when you walk down the street, it is kinda easy to feel lonely.
Well, it'll all be worthwhile when you get your huge record contract. Hope things seem better soon! ------------------ "The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his." -General George Patton (1885-1945) Member of CLAN HADB |

I don't know if this helps, but think of how much greater your appreciation is for the things at home. It's a good thing to remember where you've come from. i think it helps focus where you are going to.

I hope you are feeling better by the time you get back to this thread. Just think...NYC could be the home you would have to go home to from someplace else! I am happy for you that there is something much more beautiful waiting down the road in time, happy that you got the oppurtunity to see The Big Apple and happy that I got the chance to see it through your eyes. If it gets too hard to handle, remember, you always have Tennesee, South Carolina and Texas to bide your time in until you can return home. *Hugs* Moni ------------------ You know childhood is over when a puddle seems like an obstacle instead of an opportunity.
