Basically i find it impossible just to get into the safe in trynton because it has, i think 5-6 lock things on it. The most i've gotten was all but one... what i ask is, is there a special trick to lockpicking?

There is no trick or special technique for picking locks. The tumblers either stay up or not as you try them. The higher your skill, the better chance you have of keeping them up.

As Bassman noted, if your skill is weak, a knock knock can help by keeping up several tumblers while you work on the rest.

The best way i have find out this problem is to use knock knock spell(learn the Mage or the Alcemist this skill) then have an lock pic as haye as possible for an another person like the Ninja or an Rogue if you have one it is good! And alvais use the knock knock spell because it is leveling very fast and at 70 or 80 percent it will open 5 tumbler almost every time on an lock with 6 or 7 tumblers then it is a pice of cacke to open those 2 or 3 last one with the other guys with the lock pick skills!!

also, if you don't have anyone who can cast 'knock knock', then you surely have a set of lock picks on you. those help just as well!

There is no technique that I know of to yield better lockpicking results.

I have had my four-year-old click the tumblers and open locks. (Maybe he knows!)
