ANIMAL!!! So glad to see you again! We were all so worried about you! You must have been in quite a serious accident to be in the hospital for so long. I am very happy that you came out of it, and have recovered to the point you could return home
Please tell us what happened! If you feel up to it that is. I understand if you may not. Glad to see you back again Animal |

Hey Animal! The Invasion force kinda came to a standstill without its leader. Heaven knowns they wouldn't listen to an honorary Canadian! But now that you're back, we can commence the invasion.
I'm glad that you're doing better now. I hope Johnny's present cheers you up. It certainly cheered me up.

Well, I don't remember the whole thing, but a buddy of mine had just bought an old TR7 as a resto project (damn british cr@p) and I was bringing it back for him, with him driving his truck behind me. I was coming up on a red light at a highway intersection, probably a little faster than I should have, and realized that we should've inspected the brakes a little more closely than we did. I blew the red and was t-boned by a tractor trailor probably doing about 90 km/h or more. I don't recall anything but seeing the truck coming at me. I've been told that the truck hit me and plowed me through a lamp standard then the truck went over the car. I went to see the car any wow. It was either luck or divine intervention. I fractured my skull, broke me orbital bone, jaw, leg, three ribs and punctured a lung. I'm still a little messed up, but in time should regain most of my health.

Woah that sounds like a major accident Animal. And bad luck on your part, with the bad breaks, and the tractor trailor hauling ass, not a good combination Yes you ARE lucky Animal, somebody upstairs must have been looking out for you that day. Were there any fatalies? How did the truckdriver and your friend behind you fare?
You are really a true survivor Animal. I'm so sorry about the car, but you have your life eh? I know I would have missed you if you never returned here to this forum, and I know a lot of other people here would feel the same. Once again, high fives, welcome back |
