Evening, all. Well, Pepper's second round of surgery has gone well, and the new hip joint is back in the socket where it belongs. I get to pick him up again tomorrow, and hopefully we won't have any repeats of this action. Poor guy... every time he gets in the van these days, he comes out hurting...

Hopefully we can put some nice memories into his brain shortly...

As for me, another handful of M&Ms and off to Enroth. Time to go slay some titans...

Mmm, the coal must be for me, so I'll have that...

Had a skim read in the kobold thread, a lot of amusing stuff in there. I think maybe kobolds are slightly under-rated in combat

Which of you is ready to take on half a dozen Osyluth, armed with a stick and dressed only in a skimpy loincloth?.

Heheh... enjoy it.. you can start a barbecue!

Bungleau, I sure hope your poor dog heals up before any more excursions have to take place! How you'll keep him 'quiet' is a mystery to me though. I had to keep my kittens from jumping after being spayed... yah.. that didn't work out so well. Lucky for me they didn't have any problems, though!

Getting ready to pick him up shortly... Keeping him confined is easy, because he doesn't jump (especially not with a painful hip). We've got a corner of the family room walled off with furniture, and he's got free reign of that 6'x10' (2mx3m) space. He'll be in a crate when we're not in there, and loose with us otherwise.

I'm really glad it wasn't too serious... especially not the level of serious that prompts you to ask if one more (surgery/treatment/ whatever) is worth it... *sniff*

Happy lawncutting, DA... when you're done, I could use some over here

As for the galpal, it's an eternal battle where you (and only you) decide the ultimate winner. Sayings like "Bros before..." generally come from people who have no strong attachment to any women, so there's no conflict. Part of the eternal quest is finding that person with whom you'd like to spend the rest of your life. Part of the tradeoff is that when you do that, you have to re-allocate your time.

Before it was no big deal to spend twelve hours a day every weekend with your friends. Now there's one special friend you'd like to spend time with... and you can't spend 12 like you used to and still spend enough time with her. Unless you sacrifice all your sleep... something I don't recommend for extended periods (and practice frequently ).

After that, enjoy the movie, and post your thoughts in the Movies forum.

All's well over here, at least for the moment. Got Pepper back, riding illegally all the way from Lansing. "Illegal" in that he was not in his crate (which is not illegal), but I spent the entire trip laying on the floor next to him to make sure he didn't try to move around. Which is illegal, since I wasn't wearing a seat belt

At least we didn't get busted... and he's home safe, recuperating.

Bad Bungleau, good dog! Glad he's home safe, not sure he'll ever view that car in the same way again.

Got the DSes, awake at 5am, posting by 6. Woken up by cats fighting outside the window again (5th or 6th time in the last couple of weeks, there's a territorial thing going on between our two and a couple of others in the neighbourhood; we've even caught these other two inside the house recently!). Couldn't get back to sleep so now I'm awake, tired and don't have to leave for work for another 2 hours; good job I've got no meetings today - I may be a little grumpy .

Mind you, completed a new application yesterday, in UAT now; but it's a staggering work of blinding genius, though I say so myself , so feeling good about that - always worth starting the day on a positive note even if starting it a little too early .

Dropping by to say hello!!!

I haven't been on here for a long time... I miss old friends though, and I rarely forget. So hopefully I'll try to make some time for this area. School's really crappy as of late. Midterms next week. So right now I am trying to confine myself, save all the energy I have on useful things rather than partying, and put them to studying or whatever.

How are you guys? I hope you guys are alright.
