if you have plenty of cash (60,000 or something close) then there is a weapon (mace) available in town. It's called Three White Doves and it kicks ass, ESPECIALLY against undead. I would also think that the Axe of Caged Souls (you get tons of them in IWD), which is +5 against cadaverous undead, would work very well. Are drowned dead considered cadaverous? I'm just not sure...

I don't think they resist piercing weapons. Send in the short swords
